Fillers
Lip fillers, nasolabial line fillers, perioral line fillers.
Dermal fillers are mainly used to improve the appearance of the skin and contours of the face, offering a non-surgical solution to smooth out wrinkles, increase lost volume, and improve certain shapes such as lips, cheekbones or jaw. They are suitable for individuals who require a mild and natural change without surgery. For what to use dermal fillers:
- Softening wrinkles: Fillers are used to fill deep facial wrinkles, such as smile lines (nasolabial) or periooral wrinkles (smoking lines).
- Volume addition: They are used to add volume to certain areas of the face that have lost fullness over time, such as cheekbones or tear triangle (under the eyes).
- Contouring: Improves the shape of the lips or jaw, creating a more refined or defined profile.
Lip Filler
Lip filler is a non-surgical aesthetic procedure that uses substances like hyaluronic acid to add volume, contour and hydration to the lips. This treatment helps correct asymnories, increase fullness, and create a softer, youthful look on the lips.
Results are temporary and usually last from a few months to a year, depending on the type of filler used and the patient's metabolism.

Filler for perioral wrinkles (smoking lines)
Perioral wrinkles, which appear around the mouth, are often called "smoking lines." These wrinkles can be the result of repeated muscle movement during speech, cigarette smoking, sun exposure or collagen loss as you age.
To treat and remove these wrinkles, dermal fillers with low molecular weight are mostly used. They are injected under the skin to fill and soften the fine and deep lines. Fillers containing hyaluronic acid help increase volume and hydration, making the lips and surrounding area softer and fuller.
Nasolabial wrinkles (smile lines)
The nasolabial line filler is one of the most popular treatments for softening and reducing these wrinkles, otherwise known as "smile lines." These wrinkles form between the nose and the corners of the mouth and become more pronounced over time due to loss of volume and elasticity of the skin.
The filler is injected directly into the nasolabial lines to fill and soften the deep lines. The injection helps restore lost volume and creates a softer, youthful look. The results are visible immediately after the procedure. The skin looks softer and wrinkles are significantly reduced. This provides a fresher and youthful look.

FAQs
The results of the filler application are visible immediately after the procedure. However, there are some details you should keep in mind: Phases of results after application of filler:
- Immediate results: After injection, the skin looks fuller and wrinkles are reduced. However, there may be a little swelling or redness, which can affect temporary appearance.
- After 1-2 days: The swelling starts to decrease, and the view becomes clearer. Changes are more noticeable as the skin begins to adapt to the filler.
- Full results: Complete and final results are usually visible within 1-2 weeks, once the spleen and any minor bruises have passed completely.
The effect of dermal fillers is temporary and usually lasts between 6 and 18 months, depending on several factors:
Filler type: Hyaluronic acid-based fillers tend to last about 6-12 months. Denser or specialized products for areas with less movement, such as cheekbones, can last up to 18 months.
Injection area: Areas that have more movement, such as lips, tend to lose effect more quickly compared to more stable areas.
Body metabolism: The speed at which your body metabolizes fillers affects their lifespan.
Most dermal fillers contain lidocaine, a local anaesthetic that helps reduce pain during injection. Before the procedure, most clinicians apply an anesthetic cream to the area that will be treated to minimize sensitivity and discomfort. During injection, some patients may feel a slight sensation of tightness or pressure, but the pain will be minimal.
After applying the dermal filler, it is normal to experience some mild temporary effects, as well as
- Swelling and redness
It is normal to experience slight swelling or redness in the injection areas immediately after the procedure. These symptoms are usually temporary and disappear within a few hours to a few days.
Bruises: In some cases, light bruises may appear, especially on more sensitive areas such as the lips. This usually disappears within 5-7 days.
- Short recovery time
The dermal filler procedure requires little or no recovery time. Most people return to their daily activities immediately after treatment. However, it is best to avoid intense physical activity, prolonged sun exposure, or alcohol consumption for 24-48 hours after injection to minimize swelling or bruising
- Sensitivity and easy stiffness
After injection, some people may feel a slight sensitivity or a stiffness in the treated area. This feeling usually goes away after a few days, as the fillers integrate with the skin tissue.
- Applying a cold compress to the treated area can help reduce swelling.
- Do not press or massage the treated area for at least 24 hours after the procedure to avoid filler migration.
- Avoid intense physical activity, prolonged sun exposure, or alcohol consumption for 24-48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising.
- Drink 2-3 liters of water a day because the hyaluronic acid absorbs water and keeps the skin hydrated and voluminous. Hydration after applying the filler helps optimize the results and maintain the skin after the procedure.
- Use sunscreens (SPF 30 or 50) to protect skin from sun damage after the procedure.
The use of dermal fillers during pregnancy is not recommended! Due to a lack of sufficient clinical studies, it is not known whether these products may affect the health of the mother or baby.
